Tikal One Day Tour

We offer a one-day tour package of Tikal, thought by many to be the most impressive Classic Maya ruin of all. The tour begins at the Guatemala City airport where you board a flight for Flores, the municipal center of Peten, and then transfer by shuttle to Tikal to take a walking, four hour tour into the ruins with breaks to rest as needed along the way. Remember to bring along a pair of comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Lunch is provided at a hotel restaurant at the park. Afterward there will be time to visit a museum of Mayan artifacts collected from excavations at Tikal. In the afternoon, the shuttle will return you to the Flores airport for your return flight to Guatemala City before nightfall. The tour package includes air and ground transportation, entrance fees, a bilingual guide, lunch (no drinks), and taxes.
