Below are three Book of Mormon lands tours that we offer in Guatemala with a brief description of the sites and places visited in the guided tours. Each package includes ground and water transportation, 3, 4, and 5 star (where available) hotel accommodations (prices based on double rooms), breakfasts and dinners (lunch extra), bilingual LDS tour guide, entrance fees to parks and museums, tips, and taxes.

Book of Mormon Tour Option #1 (5 day/4 night)

Guatemala City / Coban / Seibal / Flores / Tikal / Rio Dulce / Quirigua

Visit the ancient archaeological site of Kaminaljuyu (850BC-800AD) candidate for City of Nephi. See a panaromic view of Salama valley, proposed as another candidate for the Land of Nephi. Also visit a possible site for City of Manti. Take boat ride on Passion River, candidate for the Sidon river, to Seibal (400BC-900AD) possible candidate for Zarahemla. Visit Tikal (600BC-900AD), an impressive Mayan city and option to include zipline tour. Visit to Quirigua (300AD-900AD), a Classic mayan city known for its large sandstone monuments.

Guatemala City / Salama / Coban / Chisec / Seibal / Flores / Tikal / Rio Dulce /  Quirigua

Visit the ancient archaeological site of Kaminaljuyu (850BC-800AD) candidate for City of Nephi. Overlook the Salama valley. Visit the archaeological site of Tzalcam (550BC-200AD) and Los Cerritos another possible candidate for City of Nephi. Transfer to Santa Cruz Verapaz and Coban, possible site for City of Manti. Take boat ride on Passion River, candidate for the Sidon river, to Seibal (400BC-900AD) possible candidate for Zarahemla.  Visit Tikal (600BC-900AD), an impressive Mayan city and option to include zipline tour. Boat ride on Rio Dulce, visit San Felipe fort, a defensive fort established by the Spanish in the 16th century to protect the lake from marauding pirate ships. Visit Quirigua (300AD-900AD), a Classic mayan city known for its large sandstone monuments.

Visit the Zarahemla community and Colegio Mesoamericano Patzicia (www.mesopatzicia.org) to see the efforts to help the LDS saints and their neighbors. Visit Lake Atitlan, candidate for Waters of Mormon. Take boat ride on the lake to swim in thermal hot springs. Visit the ancient archaeological site of Kaminaljuyu (850BC-800AD) candidate for City of Nephi. Transfer to Salama valley. Visit to archaeological site of Tzalcam (550BC-200AD) and Los Cerritos another possible candidate for City of Nephi. Travel to Santa Cruz Verapaz and Coban, possible site for City of Manti. Go caving at Candelaria caverns. Take boat ride on Passion River, candidate for Sidon river, to Seibal (400BC-900AD) possible candidate for Zarahemla.       You have come to the right place. We apologize for the website not being ready for you yet, as it is still under construction, but we will be glad to answer any questions you might have about our tours.
