Tikal One Day Tour
We offer a one-day tour package of Tikal, rivaling all other Classic Maya cities today in its impressive beauty. The tour begins at the Guatemala City airport where you board a flight for Flores, the municipal center of Peten, and then transfer by shuttle to Tikal to take a walking, four hour tour into the ruins with breaks to rest as needed along the way. Bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Lunch is provided at a cafe restaurant inside the park. Afterward there will be time to visit a museum of Mayan artifacts collected from excavations at Tikal. Later in the afternoon, the shuttle will return you to the Flores airport for your return flight to Guatemala City. The tour package includes air and ground transportation, entrance fees, a bilingual guide, lunch (drinks extra), and taxes.
Tikal Overnight Tour
We also offer a two-day, one night Tikal tour package that in addition to the services outlined in the One Day Tikal tour also includes an overnight stay at a hotel inside the national park with lodging in comfortable bungalow style rooms with private bath and breakfast served the next morning. The overnight Tikal tour package price is based on double room accommodations.
Tikal Canopy Tour
A fun, adventurous addition to this one day Tikal package includes a visit to the Tikal Canopy Tour where you can strap yourself onto zip lines stretched high above the jungle floor and literally fly 100 to 200 meters between the tops of the jungle trees.
